CAPS is the largest private school association and the only association officially recognized by the Council for American Private Education in Colorado. We represent a wide variety of private schools statewide—urban, rural, small, large, religious, non-religious, and everything in between. We do not seek to support a certain type of private school but to serve as the voice of Colorado’s diverse and vibrant private school community as a whole.

By becoming a CAPS member, you are joining hands with your fellow private schools as a partner in a shared mission. The CAPS community provides you with valuable opportunities to connect with and learn from other educators, school leaders, and administrators.

CAPS membership is open to all private PK–12 schools in the State of Colorado and any private school association that operates schools in the State of Colorado.

For returning members: Membership Renewal begins August 2024. Membership fees will remain the same based on school enrollment.

Membership Fees

Associations pay a flat fee of $500.

School fees are based on student enrollment:

    $100

    Enrollment of 1–100

    $250

    Enrollment of 101–250

    $ 500

    Enrollment of 501–750

    $750

    Enrollment of 751 plus
